Community Involvement

Since 1905 we have been serving the communication needs of our neighbors. As a third-generation family-owned company, community means everything to CTC. Here are just a few of the ways we proudly support the communities we serve.

Meridian Food Drive

To help those Treasure Valley families in need, CTC put on a contactless food drive to benefit the Meridian Food Bank. We raised $2,200 in monetary donations and accumulated a grand total of 483 pounds of food!

Hells Canyon Days

Hells Canyon Days brings thousands of people to Washington County Fairgrounds in Cambridge Idaho every year. CTC is proud to provide sponsorship donations for events like the Show and Shine car show, Bulls & Broncs, and of course the live music. Proceeds from Hells Canyon Days support the Cambridge Rodeo Association and the Cambridge Commercial Club (Chamber of Commerce).

Cambridge High School

CTC is proud of all those students attending Cambridge High School. To celebrate each successful year of learning, CTC donates money to the annual Academic Banquet which honors all the award-winning students with a grand feast and a motivational speaker performance.

Council Bike Day

Do you remember riding a bike as a child and the freedom you felt? CTC sure does. That is why we donate to the Council Elementary Bike day put on by Payette River Bicycle Movement. Last years donations went towards helmets for the kids. Safety first!

4th of July Council

Every 4th of July Council celebrates America with World Famous Porcupine Races, a parade, and fireworks. CTC happily donates the fireworks to the community so everyone can celebrate our countries birthday.

Adams County Rodeo

CTC loves rodeos and is a proud sponsor of Adams County Rodeo. The Adams County Fair and Rodeo takes place the last full week of July: 4-H and FFA members compete in various contests and competitions. There are also open class exhibits, vendors, food booths, and the rodeo. Thursday is only a Novice Rodeo event.

Boy Scouts of America

Idahoans love the outdoors, and there is no place better to learn nature skills than the Boy Scouts of America. CTC makes a yearly donation to help local scouts learn, challenge themselves, and help them become the best version of themselves.

Council Ranch Dog Trials

Dogs are man's best friend, and coincidentally also CTCs. CTC donates to the Council Ranch Dog Trails put on by Intermountain Ranch Dog Series, a small organization that hosts working cow dog trials. Their purpose is to showcase the working cow dog and their many talents.

Lowman Volunteer Fire District

CTC knows the importance of volunteer first responders in rural communities. We owe a considerable debt to those volunteers who dedicate themselves to helping keep our community safe. As a thank you for their time and commit CTC annually donates to the local Lowman fire team.

Washington County Fair

The county fair provides a place where people from all walks of life can gather in a spirit of joy and become inspired by the exhibits and activities of their neighbors. Many CTC employees grew up participating in the live animal auction where they proudly displayed the animals they raised. To keep the tradition alive, CTC enters the auction ring each year to purchase some prize-winning livestock to support local families and the community.
