Dedicated To Idaho

The history of CTC stretches back to 1905 when Cambridge Telephone Company was established to bring phone service to Adams and Washington counties in Idaho. Since then, telecommunications has changed tremendously. And so has CTC. But through the years, one thing has not changed: our dedication to friendly, personal customer service provided by an Idaho company and staffed by Idaho residents who always answer your call.

At The Forefront Of Technology

We’ve kept at the forefront of technology to continually bring our customers the best service possible. Today that means innovations like fiber optic lines for flawless, crystal clear communications and high-speed Internet service that reaches 1 GB. Custom calling features like Caller ID and voice mail and options that include distinctive rings, anonymous call rejection, and home intercom are only a few of our many services.

The Better Telecommunications Company

Today, CTC is bringing our unique combination of quality, value, and personal service to many more people in Idaho. Now that you have a choice choose the better telecommunications company. Choose CTC.

Cambridge Telephone, Inc. started in 1905 in Idaho to provide communication services to Washington and Adams Counties.

In 1999, CTC Telecom was created as a CLEC to deploy FTTH in Hidden Springs and neighboring Boise developments.

In 1999, 12 independent ILEC’s in Idaho created Syringa Networks to link each ILEC together to increase purchasing power and build a robust Fiber Optic Carrier Ethernet Ring.

In 2012, CTC Business was created as a business-to-business arm of CTC Telecom to provide Hosted IP, SIP, IP & Ethernet services to businesses across the Treasure Valley as a CLEC carrier voice/Ethernet service provider.

Today, both CTC Business and CTC Telecom remain at the forefront of technology to deliver excellence in communication systems and customer service
