CTC Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) Information

What Is the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)?.

ACP is an FCC program that helps connect families and households struggling to afford internet service by lowering the monthly cost of broadband internet.

Who is eligible?.

A household is eligible for the ACP if the household income is at or below the 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, or if a member of the household meets at least one of the following criteria below:

  • Received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year;
  • Meets the eligibility criteria for a participating provider's existing low-income internet program;
  • Participates in one of these assistance programs:
    • Federal Public Housing Assistance Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
    • Veterans Pension or Survivor Benefits

What type of discount is available?.

The ACP provides:

  • Up to $30/month discount for broadband service;

The ACP is limited to one monthly service discount per household.

How do I apply for the Affordability Connectity Program?.

  1. Go to AffordableConnectivity.gov to submit an application or print out a mail-in application; and
  2. Contact CTC to select a plan and have the discount applied to your bill.

Eligible households must both apply for the program and contact CTC to select a service plan.

Service Provider Portal.

Consumers can visit a service provider, who will use NLAD (National Lifeline Accountability Database) to enter the subscriber's information, receive an eligibility decision, and enroll the subscriber.
