Application Privacy

Cambridge Telephone Co., Inc. & CTC Telecom, Inc. (collectively “CTC” or “We”) respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”). This Privacy Policy describes:

• The types of information we may collect via your correspondence with CTC or that you may provide when you install, register with, access, or use the CTC Command Center Mobile Application (the "App").
• Our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
• This Privacy Policy applies only to information we collect in this App and in email, text, and other electronic communications sent through or in connection with this App or other CTC Services.

This Privacy Policy DOES NOT apply to information that:

• We collect offline or on any other Calix apps or websites, including websites you may access through this App.
• You provide to or is collected by any third party.
• Our websites and apps, and these other third parties, may have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read before providing information on or through them.

We collect information from you when you subscribe to our newsletter or fill out a form.

When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address or phone number. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

We collect information from and about users of our App:

• Directly from you when you provide it to us.
• Automatically when you use the App.
• From other third parties for use with the App.

When you download, register with, or use the App, we may ask you to provide information:

• By which you may be personally identified, such as name, email address, telephone number, or any other identifier by which you may be contacted online or offline ("personal information")
• That is about you but individually does not identify you, such as your password, and your router’s MAC address and serial number.

• Information that you provide by filling in forms in the App. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use the App. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with the App.
• Records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses and phone numbers), if you contact us.

You may provide personal or other information to CTC and other third parties and displayed on the App through your use of the App. The provision of this information by you to these third parties may be subject to such third parties’ terms and conditions. CTC does not assume and will not have any liability or responsibility to you or any other person or entity for such information.

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

• To improve our website (we continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you)
• To improve customer service (your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs)
• To send periodic emails The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.
• Provide you with the App and its contents, and any other information, including any in-App notifications related to your use of the App.
• Fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it.
• Carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us.

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal information.

We do not use cookies.

CTC does not sell or otherwise distribute or disclose your information to third parties other than as described or authorized in the Agreement, including this Privacy Policy.

CTC discloses the information to its subsidiaries, affiliates and certain third-party vendors and contractors that provide development, integration, web hosting and consulting services to CTC to provide you with the App, to maintain, support, develop, improve and/or enhance the App and to fulfill CTC obligations associated with the App.

CTC  may be required to disclose information under certain circumstances:

• To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request;
• To enforce CTC's rights arising from the Agreement entered into between you and CTC;
  
• If CTC believes disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of CTC, its customers or other third parties; or
• To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of CTC's  assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which your information and/or your subscriber information held by CTC are among the assets transferred.

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our website. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

The App is not intended for children under 16 years of age, and on behalf of its BSPs, CTC does not knowingly collect personal data of children under 16, without parental consent. If CTC learns that personal data from a child under 16 has been obtained or received without verification of parental consent, CTC will delete that information. If you believe CTC might have any information from or about a child under 16, please notify CTC by completing a Request Form (clicking the link will take you to TrustArc, whom Calix has engaged to assist with personal information requests).

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.

This online privacy policy applies only to information collected through our website and not to information collected offline.

By using our site, you consent to our websites privacy policy.

You can review your personal information by logging into the App and visiting your account profile page. Personal information provided by you when you register with the App cannot be changed by you and we are unable to correct any personal information that you have provided to us. We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. If you wish to correct your personal information, please delete your user account and create a new account.

Your information is retained and used as described in this Privacy Policy. If you delete your account for the App in accordance with the terms of the Agreement, your information will be deleted within 30 days of the deletion of such account or within such other timeline as may be mandated by applicable law. You will no longer be able to access the App when your account is deleted.

All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers behind firewalls. CTC utilizes mechanisms such as intrusion detection systems, intrusion prevention systems, firewalls and encryption to secure information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure.
