Voicemail Quick Start Guide

  • 3- Family
  • 4- Friends
  • #- Return to Main Menu
  1. Record your Unavailable Message
  2. Record your Busy Message
  3. Record your Name
  4. Record your Temporary Greeting
  5. Change your Password
  • 1. Voicemail asks you to record the message after the tone.
  • 2. When you are finished, you may hang up or press # for more options.
  • 3. Either action disconnects your call and stores the message in the “New” messages folder.

After the tone say your message and then press the # key

  1. Accept this Recording
  2. Listen to Recording
  3. To re-record your message
  • 1. Voicemail asks you to enter your new password followed by #.
  • 2. Enter your new password and press #.
  • 3. Voicemail asks you to re-enter your new password followed by #.
  • 4. Enter your new password and press # again.
  • 5. Voicemail confirms that your password has been changed and returns you to the Voicemail box options.

*From your subscribed phone:

  • 1. Pick up the handset.
  • 2. Dial *83.

*From any other location:

  • 1. Pick up the handset.
  • 2. Dial your Voicemail access DN.
  • 3. Listen for the prompt for your phone number.
  • 4. Enter your 10-digit phone number
  • 5. List for the prompt for your password.
  • 6. Enter your password. Default pw is your 10-digit phone number.
  • 1-Interrupt message introduction
  • *-Rewind the message by 3 seconds
  • #-Forward the message by 3 seconds

After message has played:

  • 5-Repeat the current message
  • -Play the next message
  • 7-Delete this message
  • 8-Forward this message
  • 9-Save this message
  • For Voicemail to Email feature, please call 208-229-1000 or email customerservice@ctctele.com with the land-line phone number and email address to receive notifications.

  • Centurylink could only offer me up to 20 down and 0.8 up. CTC was able to give me 50 down and 10 up. They came and installed an upgraded line to my house for free, when Centurylink came to my door and asked if I wanted an upgrade for $250. The internet is great and I always get the speed advertised, it never drops or cuts out. The best thing is no datacaps like with Cableone, which I would go over every month. This is probably the best internet you can get if they are in your area. Fast and reliable speed with no data caps.
