Connecting communities

December Customer of the Month

Yes, in case you're wondering, he really IS this handsome in person too, and even more cheerful. He's such a wonderful example of a positive spirit and community servant, we just had to spotlight J.C.

With six big adventurous older brothers and two big sisters, it's a miracle that J.C. even survived childhood, and lived to tell us a little about his life. He's still in good spirits after surviving a self-inflicted accidental arsenic poisoning, a near drowning, a long fall out of a tall pecan tree, then growing up to raise five boys of his own with his beautiful wife Jeanne McCurry. At one point, the oldest four were all under five years old! J.C. says, "Jeanne had her hands full. She has wonderful hands. Praise the Lord for my sons."

J.C. has been a CTC customer since 1971, when the Warren family first moved to Cambridge. He says, "I've always liked CTC. They've always provided us with good service." He taught several age groups in the Cambridge school district for a decade, but fourth graders were his favorite because they're still teachable.

Hopefully we've absorbed a small fraction of his goodness, joy, and gratitude attitude over the years just by osmosis. It's amazing, the wonderful people we get to serve! We're so grateful for you, Mr. Warren!
